Blue squirrel brush
These brushes are realised with a particular attention in order to give to the squirrel hair, in addition to its intrinsic exceptional qualities it naturally already possesses, such as great capillarity and gradual, homogeneous color release, also a thin tip, indispensable in the modern watercolor techniques, which require attention to details and the possibility to switch from thick lines to very thin ones. The traditional binding method design, stylistically highlights the appearance of the best watercolour brushes lines. The old method imposed to tie together the natual quill previously softened in hot water, and then wrapped together on the head and on the handle in order to keep them united. The current method grants more water and wear resistance than the old one, since, besides the binding, the handle, the synthetic ferrule and the hair are hold together also thanks to a special bicomponent glue.
